Vancouver: An Incomplete Atlas

Some of my favourite shots of my favourite town. Mostly known these days for towers of glass, Vancouver has many faces. Some of them are here.

Spanish Banks

With Stanley Park and the North Shore in the background, from Spanish Banks where it was nice and sunny, thank you very much

Portside Park

This hidden gem beside the Port of Vancouver is home to spectacular views of Burrard Inlet and, as you can see, some absolutely spectacular light.

Strathcona

Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood is jam packed with hidden gems.

Chinatown

Built in 1912, the Keefer Rooms in Chinatown has been a rooming house for 100 years. The ground floor retail space was home to a bath house in the 1930's.

Coal Harbour

The 2010 Olympic Cauldron at sundown during the Winter Olympics

Vancouver Art Gallery

The video installation in place for the Olympics captured at least a few people's attention.
